My husband and I just had a wonderful snorkel/sailing experience.  This past Wednesday morning we woke up with excitement as we headed down to the activity beach center (in front of the Maui Prince Hotel),  to check in for the deluxe morning Molokini snorkel sail. We watched as the boat pulled right up on the beach to pick us up.  The crew members then greeted us and let us know that this was a BAREFOOT cruise, then asked us to place all our slippers in a bin before we started. Excitement rolled through my head as I was walking down the beach with the sand between my feet into shallow water then up stairs to board the boat. As soon as we got on board there was a continental type breakfast waiting for us to dig in. Then the captain(capt. roger) went around calling us by name and asking where we were from.  I thought that was great.

As the trip started heading to Molokini Crater  we ran into a pod of  bottle nose dolphins (Just like  Flipper from the movie).  On the way over the crew members fitted us up for our snorkel gear and gave detailed instruction to those needing assistance.  We then reached Molokini where the water was so amazing and crystal clear, visibility was great and there were many different fish to see.  After Molokini we headed towards turtle town.  When the boat docked one of the crew members got out in the water with us and swam us over to the turtle cleaning station, where we saw quite a bit of turtles.  There were some being cleaned by fish then surfacing, while others were resting at the ocean floor.  We then got back on the boat to have a deli style lunch which was good.  By this time, I thought our adventure had come to an end, but I was wrong.  The cruise headed towards the la perouse bay area as we were finishing up lunch, the boat then turned around and sailed back towards makena.  This was my first sailing experience as well as my husbands so it was fabulous.

If your ever looking for a snorkel/sailing adventure I would highly recommend this trip.  Thanks to capt. roger, melissa and kiki who made this the best experience.
